Nude Bike Ride: Bold Six-Day Tandem Bike Ride Across England
Two naturist friends, Neil Cox and J Antic, are making waves with their adventurous six-day tandem bike journey across England – completely in the nude! The daring duo, who are both passionate about naturism, kicked off their 260-mile ride on a tandem bicycle from Gloucester to Land’s End, Cornwall. Along their route, they’ve camped, stayed in hotels, and even popped into shops and bars – all without a stitch of clothing.

This bold adventure is not their first time cycling down to Land’s End; the friends completed a similar trip in 2022 to raise £5,000 for charity. This year, however, the ride is purely for fun, and the response they’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive. According to Neil, “People in Glastonbury were overwhelmingly positive… one lady even thanked us,” while in Bristol, the reaction was more casual, with people generally indifferent to their unusual attire – or lack thereof.
The pair’s unique trip aims to promote body confidence and challenge societal norms around nudity. Neil emphasized that their journey isn’t meant to offend anyone, stating, “It’s not a sexual thing. We’re just embracing a natural way of life.” J added that their naturism has helped improve their own body image and self-confidence.

While their journey has been met with some criticism on social media, with one commenter asking for more respect for others, many have supported the duo’s message, praising them for challenging negative body image portrayals. Neil hopes their ride encourages more people to embrace naturism and accept the diversity of bodies in a non-sexualized context.
As they approach the end of their adventure, Neil and J reflect on the overall positivity they’ve encountered, from curious onlookers to cheerful supporters. For them, it’s about more than just a naked bike ride – it’s a stand for body positivity and the freedom to be comfortable in your own skin.
